Thinking OutSide Of The Box IV - What to do with the keywords???
Now is the time to really dig in. Start tackling our niche and try to make a decent amount of money. Now, if I can make some extra cash off of scrap booking, imagine what you could do with a niche that falls in health, wealth or relationships!
Now lets focus on the task at hand. I have selected a rather small group of keywords, for each keyword I am going to write an article with the keyword in the title and at least once every 100 words. Why? Well, so the search engines can find me... but more importantly when they do they know exactly what I am talking about and know where to place me!!!
I am going to submit this article to Ezine Articles, which is free! With the free membership you do have to wait a few days for approval, but google loves Ezines and as long as they know what the article is about you will rank nicely.
So off I go to write an article per each keyword listed. Wish me luck! Ah.. I missed out a crucial step, and if your a complete newbie you don't know this. The way I am going to make money is promoting other peoples products. Yeah, that's right. I will post a new post, perhaps tonight explaining this in more detail so you can tackle this immediately!

Thinking Outside Of The Box lll - Digging Into Keywords!
Alright.. I kinda left you high and dry for a few weeks.. My apologizes. Lets dive in and find out who your competition is. Before we do lets review what our steps have been so far.
1. Pick Something - Anything! Although you can sell just about anything on line when your first starting out it helps if you have interest in your topic. This makes the following steps easy to complete. ***Remember the 3 most profitable areas are: Health, Wealth and Relationships***
2. Keyword Research - This can be easily over complicated by many. Don't be afraid to dive into this, select good keywords with low competition. Ah.. make sure you have some traffic or your efforts won't be worth it!
Now lets dig a bit deeper. Find out who our competition is and if the key words are worth it! We will continue to focus on the Scrap booking niche. Now if you have followed my previous post you have already opened the free keyword tool If not let open it up and start digging.
I am going to search for scrapbooking supplies. Why? Well people buy supplies! Now at the time of the post scrapbooking supplies and scrapbook supplies have the most searches per month, they also have the most competition. I find out who my competition is by completing one super simple step. I search in google the exact term with in quotes. For example, I search "scrapbooking supplies" and google showed Results 1 - 10 of about 1,410,000 for "scrapbooking supplies". 1,410,000 is our competition! Ouch!
For newbies, we want to stay below 50,000. Why? Because this is a number we can easily compete with. We can easily put up free pages and rank with in the first couple pages of google, if not the top ten.
So.. hopefully you have an area your interested in. Pull up the keyword tool and find out what keywords people are searching with. Select all that have less than 50,000 competitors!

OK.. the next few post I will tell you what I am going to do with these keywords, what free sites I use to rank and how to make money online!
Quick side note... I know many people search work online from home wanting real and legitimate. I know there are many sites that sell you the idea of getting rich and making money quick online. This is not one of those sites. In fact most people who make a descent amount of money online know that it takes some work to achieve success. Once you learn some methods and apply them you too can be working online from home. With that in mind, stay tuned while I show you the exact steps I take that enable me to work online from home.

Buying Cycle - Where do you want to target people?
I see so many people start out online and fail miserably. Then.. they give up. Why? Maybe they didn't have all of the tools they needed. Or the tool they thought would lead them to riches didn't reveal key components.
I want to help you succeed online and actually achieve your dream of working online from home. So look over my thinking out side of the box series. I just started them and when I am finished I will create a little e-book for my loyal readers so all the juicy info can be found in one place and can be referred to easily. Don't worry, I wont stick a price tag on it!
OK... enough of that mumbo jumbo! I just want to briefly discuss the buying cycle and how it can hurt or help you.
The Cycle
1. Identifying Phase - People have one of the following - Need/Want/Passion/Problem. They know they want something but don't know what it is yet.
2. Research Phase - when first starting out stay away from the research phase. (I don't think I will ever approach this phase!) Why? Because they are less likely to buy. They are just trying to find more information.
3. More Defined Research - Ahh.. through research they will find something they might like... So they dive deeper. They start searching for reviews wanting to learn more and see if product is worth their while. This is sometimes a good place to be! But keep in mind it takes someone seeing something at least 7 times before the buy it! 7 times! Be that 7th person!!
4. In The Know Phase - This is the best place to be! People know what they want. They search for it by name and sometimes even put buy in front of the name! Capitalize on this market!
OK.. this is all from my head and there are more phases if you want to break down the human mind a bit more. I just wanted to share with you briefly how it works and where you want to be! Place yourself towards the end of the cycle and you will find you make more money.
One quick juicy bit from me before I leave you... If people have a problem they need to solve whether it be a marital problem, financial problem, weight loss problem... they will buy things no matter their financial situation. It doesn't matter if the economy is in the dumps! They will buy!

Thinking Outside Of The Box II - Keywords
This Is a couple of days late... With summer here, kids out of school I am running a hundred different directions! Ah.. the joys of working online from home! Hope you forgive me and find this informative cause it's a goodie!
OK... A few days ago I asked you to make a list of things your passionate about. Now you don't necessarily have to be passionate about something to make money off of it, but it surely helps! You will see why after I walk you through each step that I take to make money online.
Now that we have a list we are going to dig a little deeper by conducting keyword research. My favorite tool to use is Google Adwords Keyword Tool. Oh yeah... It's a free tool! I love the free stuff!
You can type in what your passionate about and start digging. Let's walk through a passion better known as a niche in Internet Marketing. Let's dig into scrap booking! I used to work with a lady who loved scrap booking and would spend thousands of dollars each year doing it! So lets dig and see if others do too!
I will start by searching for scrap booking supplies in the nifty keyword tool. Why? Because supplies are what people buy! The further in the buying cycle you find your consumer the more likely they are to make a purchase. A step further would be searching for a brand name/manufacturer. Chances are if the are narrowing down their search they are looking for something specific and not just gathering information at this point. Ah the buying cycle... we will dig into this another day. (Update - Learn more about the buying cycle here!!)
Back to keywords! My results from this search are give me plenty of keywords to start with. From my results I can see that this is a niche worth tackling and I can dominate a few areas quite easily since competition is almost non-existent. How do you find out who your competition is? I will explain that in the days to come!
One quick thought - I didn't push together the words scrapbooking... why? Because thousands of people misspell words all the time and less competitors capitalize one it!
Now stick with me over the coming days as I walk you through how I would tackle this niche using *free* methods! Hopefully you can follow my steps for your niche and start working online from home! Ah... in the meantime a little homework for you! Conduct some keyword research and create a list!

Thinking Outside Of The Box
We took a short step back in my last post and with in this one we will take a giant leap forward. You see a year ago I was lai
d off from my safe and secure job that offered great benefits. Some benefit it was sitting at home writing a resume while living off my severance package. I found myself lost trying to make ends meet.
A friend handed me a book.. Rich Dad Poor Dad. This book found me when I needed it most. It helped me shape a new way of thinking. Is working for a corporation safe? We all know that just because you have a degree, experience, knowledge or a good job just doesn't cut it. I didn't want to make millions I just wanted to create my own security. So where and how do you begin?
Many people are starting small business whether it be down the street or online. I chose to build my adventure online. My new adventure that would offer me the security I desperately needed. When starting out online, you don't need a ton of money but you will need time. Time to organize your thoughts, create a plan a push forward with hard work.
You see millions of people think there is this magic potion, so millions of people buy product after product hoping it will lead them to riches.... Less than 5% find it. In fact I don't think they find it, I believe they create it! You can too!
If you want to make money online, seriously make money. Treat it like a business, create a business plan and work toward achieving your goals everyday. You are in control of your destiny.
Make the choice for yourself and while your at it... stop wasting your money on products that don't work!
PHEW... Glad I got that off my mind. I just hate to see hard working people who are pinching their pennies waste them on false promises and high hopes. Lets be serious.. you can make it online. It's all about thinking outside of the box. I want you to write down things you are passionate about. Whether it be your family, kids, scrap booking, fishing etc.
Did you write them down? Chances are thousands perhaps millions of other people around the world have the same interest as you. You can reach out to them by creating a blog, drive traffic with articles and work your way to the top of search engines.

Work Online From Home - Where Are All Of The Real Opportunities?
Let's take a step back for a minute... After reviewing my blog I have noticed I jumped right into giving away info on how to make money online. But is that what you really want? Do you want to create success for yourself? Or perhaps work for someone else?
There are plenty of real opportunities to work online from home it's all a matter of finding them. You might also need to think outside of the box! Driving Traffic - So You Can Work Online From Home!
You have a website and it look wonderful! You have taken full advantage of all the important spots on your page so google (or an other search engine) can find it! Your keeping it fresh by adding new content! Kudo's!!
You check it daily... hourly... and yet you have no visitors. In fact your not even able to find yourself online. Why? My 80/20 rule. 20% has to do with what is on your page the other 80% had everything to do with what not on your page!
Want to gain page rank? Want to get to the 1st page of google and stay there? Want to traffic flooding your page? You must promote your page!
Think of it as a new resturaunt. You have a great place, wonderful food, service and prices.. how are people going to find you? Especially since your located off the backroads. Hmm... Flyers? Commercials? Mailers?
Promotion is an important part of any business. Don't have the money to promote, you in luck! One of the most effective way to promote your new website is through article marketing. Pssst... it's free!
Write articles about whatever your promoting and submit them to free article directories. Write alot of articles! Just like the resturaunt business who hands out flyers, one flyer is not going to do the job!
A good goal to start with is 2 articles a day pointing to your sight. Raise your goal once you get the hang of things.
Where do you submit you articles? If you had only one choice, make it ezinearticles.com If you submit quality articles your articles will be picked up by other blogs! This is great for you! Why? Because the more websites pointing to yours, the more important you are and google will start taking notice. Driving your page up in the index and driving more traffic to your page!
